Product Details
Description:
Humans are fascinated with speed. Problem is, it's tough to measure. In steps the Bushnell? Speedster? and the Velocity.? With endless possibilities, the Speedster uses digital technology and DSP (Digital Signal Processing) to provide accurate real-time measurements to +/- 1.0 MPH. It measures the speed of a baseball from 75 feet away and even has a stat-keeping mode. Additionally, the speed of larger objects like racecars can be measured from 1,300 feet. A more simplified, yet equally effective, option is the Velocity with its easy point-and-shoot operation. Like the Speedster, it boasts +/- 1.0 MPH accuracy. The Velocity can track the speed of a ball from 100 feet. It's the ideal tool for tracking everything from racecars to pitching speeds.

Excellent Training Aid for Softball/Baseball Pitching
Strengths: Accurate, Easy to Use, Good Construction, Reasonable Priced.
Weakness: Uses Size C Battery.
I bought this to help my daughters to practice softball pitching. It works great and gives them incentive to increase throwing speed. It is also useful to check the pitching speed in a batting cage. The speed marks on some pitching machines are way off.

Best price at Adorama and, very important, they are willing to ship to Europe at a reasonable cost.

Excellent value
Strengths: Rugged, compact, high quality construction.
Weakness: none.
It works great for my application, measuring the speed of radio controlled aircraft. Picks up fairly well at a distance, given the small frontal area of most models. I can't think of a better unit for the price.

Awesome DSP Radar Gun
Strengths: Digital:Range:K-Band Large display and great on battery's.
Weakness: No moving mode, no back light on display.
I have had this gun for over a year now. It is the best $100 radar gun I have ever had. It is simply the best K-Band digital radar gun on the market. I have used even to range aircraft at airports and boats even. I have also tested many of my own radar detectors with it. (Try the Valentine One Radar Detector, you'll love it)
