It's Huge

Strengths: Cost, Easy setup, privacy, plenty of room, compact storage

Weakness: either wide open or completely closed. Takes up a lot of room.

I was looking for a tent that I could easily set up to take my sons camping. I liked the dividers to allow for a changing area/sleep area privacy. I was looking for a tent that I could easily set up to take my sons camping. I liked the dividers to allow for a changing area/sleep area privacy. I did not expect it to be quite so large but it is easy to set up even for a lightweight such as myself and even with a 4 yr old helper ;) I do wish that it had a way to close it up a bit or to easily open the rainfly so that when you are sitting in the tent you could open it up and close it up. As it is you have to take the rainfly off to have it open and then the entire top is open. there really isn't an in between. Overall I'm very pleased with the tent. I would recommend checking out a tent that's similar size set up or even better this one. As if you are trying to camp in a small space it might not fit. You need quite a bit of space to set it up. It would easily fit 8 so that certainly is no exageration. I would also like to see a way to set up just the middle and leave the side areas pinned down for when you don't need them for a quick camp out with fewer people but that's not neccessary would just be nice.


I'm not crazy about the whole rainfly concept but it seems the way to go these days.

I should also mentioned that at around $75 or so it's a very good deal. comparable tents are about double from what I could tell.

Misrepresetned

Strengths: foot lockers

Weakness: Strange shaped....to much screen...flimsy poles....

They say the tent is 18' by 10'....what they DON'T tell you is that it is triangle shaped so it's only 10' in one, little 2 inch section....then it angles down to 4' wide....there is NO WAY 2 queen size blow up mattress will fit in it. Poles felt flimsy....weird way it hooks together at the top with a plastic spoke thingy.....will not suit my purposes so it WILL be going back to store........
