This light was a complete lifesaver! I'm an adult, but am absolutely terrified of the dark. This light was PERFECT. When the sun would start to go down, we'd put it on the medium setting. It was very bright and lit an entire room for hours with no problems.
After using it to light the room on medium, we used it on the night light setting for 8+ hours while we slept.
We charged it (at a friends or you can get an a/c inverter for your car) for a few hours each day and not once did it threaten to go out on us.

We could see absolutely no difference between the high and medium setting so I recommend keeping it on medium since the battery is supposed to last 3 hours longer.

This light is an absolute must have for campers and those that may go without electricity for any period of time.
